Add your clinic's details

This is the first thing to fill in. Everything else uses these values.

Who can do this: the clinic admin. Nobody else sees Clinic settings.

Before you start: have your clinic's legal name and registered address to hand.

Steps

  1. Open Clinic settings > General.

  2. Click the pencil at the top of the page. The whole page turns into a form
at once. There is one Edit and one Save for the page, not one per section.

  3. Fill in Legal details: legal name, registered address, country, phone,
    email.

  4. Fill in Currency & timezone.

  5. Fill in Booking & financial settings: minimum booking notice, maximum
booking days ahead, cancellation window, no-show fee, visit fee.

  6. Click Save.

What you should see: the page back in reading mode, with your values in place.
A fee you set to zero reads No fee, not "0", so a deliberate no-charge is
clear.

Three things worth knowing

The registered address is not where patients are seen. It is the legal
entity's address, the one that goes on correspondence. The places where care
happens are Locations, and they are added separately.

Currency is set here and only here. Locations cannot change it, and neither
can anything else. If your organisation genuinely works in a second currency,
that is a second clinic, not a location of this one.

The timezone is used by every time in the system. Every appointment, every
working hour. Get it right before you enter any hours.

The booking numbers are defaults, not local rules

The five booking and financial values are the clinic's normal rule. A single
location can override any of them later, for example if one site charges a
different visit fee. A location that overrides nothing simply follows the
clinic.

Note. These values describe your rule. Schedule does not yet refuse a
booking that breaks them, so do not rely on the minimum notice to stop
reception booking something for this afternoon.
